Flowmaster's Federal legal direct fit catalytic converter is for the 1997-2001 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer with the 4.0L V6 engines. This unit replaces the Left (Driver) side only and uses 2.25" mandrel bent stainless steel tubing. It is a one piece assembly that connects to the exhaust manifold flange and then crosses over to connect with the right side converter assembly.Includes all applicable installation hardware. These stainless steel converters meet USEPA standards and include a 25,000 mile emissions, and 50,000 mile/5 year exterior casing warranty. Please note: These USEPA Federal converters are not available for sale or use on vehicles locensed or operated in t he state of California.
