Top builders choose top quality parts. Rodger Lee and the team at Ironworks Speed and Kustom LLC. have been building high-quality hotrods in Bakersfield, CA for some time now. The crew’s laid-back, humble demeanor is a stark contrast to the slap-you-in-the-face, high-powered performers that they assemble in their shop, send out to shows, and deliver to satisfied customers.

One of their latest and greatest creations is this 1,000+ hp Whipple supercharged, LS9-powered ’57 Bel Air sitting on an Art Morrison chassis and Ridetech suspension. The Ironworks team left no panel untouched. The long list of modifications includes a custom set of HRE wheels, loads of one-off carbon fiber accents, a Flowmaster exhaust system, and a B&M shifter. The quality and quantity of custom touches made to this Tri-Five will literally leave you mind-blown.

In November, we had the privilege of unveiling this Chevy in our SEMA booth. If you frequent car shows and cruises then you’ve probably seen a ’57 or two, but until you see this Bel Air in person, you won’t be able to comprehend the level of detail and creative craftsmanship that went into this build. The reaction of SEMA Show attendees said it all.
