The next stop on the 2008 Flowmaster Tour takes us to the O'Reilly Auto Parts 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas. The facility features a 1/4 mile drag strip and 3/8 mile oval dirt track and hosts events such as the NHRA Nationals, the ADRL Pro Mods and the World of Outlaws sprint cars. This was the first time that the The Promotion Company came to town with the 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals. The event which was held in and around the dirt oval track featured show trucks, mud bogs, tough trucks, monster trucks and a manufacturer's market place full of many cool new products. Toyota's Ride and Drive promotion of the new FJ Cruisers on a simulated off road course allowed customers a hands-on experience to see how they drive and handle. The infield track offered excitement such as mud bog, tough trucks, mud drags, burn out contest, monster truck drags and free style. With twenty four vendors and sponsors on hand, there was something for everyone to see and learn about. Companies such as, BF Goodrich, Toyo Tires, 4 Wheel Parts, Flowmaster, and O’Reilly Auto Parts were just a few. I am now off to enjoy the very next stop on the O'Reilly Auto Parts 4x4 Jamboree Nationals in Anderson, South Carolina next weekend. If you're in the area drop by and say hi. --Dave
